A. Job Description

Prepare all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment for cooking according to the shift schedule.
Maintain food quality at the highest achievable level.
Be aware of the happenings in the restaurant (e.g., the arrival of a large guest party, etc.).
Calculate the appropriate amount of ingredients/raw materials for each product used.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Adhere to all regulations regarding food safety and hygiene, and internal occupational safety rules.
Control and minimize spoilage, wastage, or loss due to pre-processing.
Complete all required forms accurately.
Arrive on time and be ready to work.
Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are maintained in good working order.
Label and date all products that have been used/prepped.
Execute food retrieval from storage based on the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle.
Assist the Kitchen Team Leader in evaluating products/ingredients within the specialized product groups.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks as instructed by the direct Manager.

Experience: Preference for individuals with at least 06 months of experience in restaurant/hotel kitchens.
Appearance/Demeanor: Quick, agile, and suitable for a kitchen and service environment.
Skills: Ability to receive information and fill out required forms/templates.
Physical Demands: Able to move continuously or stand in place during the working shift.
Personality: Dedicated to customer service, honest, open-minded, enthusiastic, highly motivated (eager to learn), and able to work well under work pressure.
Age: 18 years old and above.
