A. Job Description
- Maintain the quality and consistency of signature dishes under the brand standards.
- Develop and strengthen the core kitchen team while enhancing professional culinary knowledge.
- Assign and arrange work shifts to ensure adequate staffing and efficiency during kitchen operations.
- Inspect the preparation of ingredients and goods at the beginning of each shift or upon delivery.
- Supervise and evaluate the quality of incoming ingredients and finished dishes served to guests.
- Monitor inventory levels and order food supplies to meet forecasted business needs.
- Maintain and enforce hygiene, food safety, and occupational safety regulations.
- Report any unusual incidents or issues to the Head Chef immediately.
- Accurately complete and submit all required reports and documentation.
- Other tasks as directed by the direct manager.
B. Job Requirements
- Age: 27 years old and above.
- Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in restaurant kitchens.
- Appearance and manner: Energetic and professional, suitable for the kitchen and service environment.
- Ability to receive and record information accurately on required forms.
- Able to stand or move continuously throughout the working shift.
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrating a clear supervisory role within the kitchen team.
- Solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards, with the ability to train and guide team members.
- Good problem-solving skills in both internal and external kitchen operations.
- Ability to estimate and forecast food and material needs, ensuring timely preparation of dishes according to the restaurant’s service schedule.
- Demonstrates cost awareness and responsibility in maintaining and protecting company assets.
- Skilled in cooking operations, with strong taste evaluation and quick, decisive execution.
- Personality: Customer-oriented, honest, open-minded, enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work under high pressure.
