[HCMC - Nha Hang Thanh Nien] Kitchen Staff

A. Job Description

- Prepare ingredients, tools, and equipment for cooking according to shift requirements.
- Maintain food quality at the highest possible standard.
- Stay aware of restaurant operations (e.g., large groups arriving, special events, etc.).
- Calculate and ensure adequate ingredients for each dish.
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
- Control and minimize waste or spoilage during food preparation.
- Complete all required kitchen forms and checklists accurately.
- Arrive on time and be ready to work.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are in good working condition.
- Label and date all stored products properly.
- Follow the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle when using stored food items.
- Support the Kitchen Supervisor in checking and evaluating ingredients or dishes within the assigned category.
- Other tasks as directed by the direct manager.

B. Job Requirements

- Preferably at least 6 months of experience working in restaurant or hotel kitchens.
- Appearance/Attitude: Active, neat, and suitable for kitchen and service environments.
- Ability to receive and record information accurately on forms.
- Ability to stand or move continuously during the working shift.
- Personality: Customer-oriented, honest, open-minded, enthusiastic, willing to learn, and able to work under pressure.
- Age: Above 18 years old.
