A. Job Description

Receive customer payments and verify the transaction with the service department or the customer.
Ensure the accuracy of all revenue/expenditure transactions within the restaurant.
Sign for the petty cash/float at the beginning of the shift and carefully count the money in the till/safe at the beginning and end of the shift to verify the exact amount.
Record and total food and beverage orders, or circle the food and beverage items in the ledger/records.
Collect payment, verify or confirm payments from guests, process change for the transaction, check ID when verifying personal checks (if applicable), and prepare receipts/invoices.
May be required to verify the correspondence between cash, receipts, and total sales to ensure accuracy at the end of the shift.
Responsibilities may also include greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and submitting them to the kitchen staff.
Consolidate special invoices (discounts, service settlements, etc.) in accordance with company policies and regulations.
Control/Manage daily input invoices – Value Added Tax (VAT) invoices.
Perform other duties as assigned by the direct Manager.

Appearance/Demeanor: Quick, agile, and suitable for a service environment.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using computers and payment/accounting software.
Math Skills: Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform accurate manual calculations.
Analysis: Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Legal Knowledge: Understanding of relevant laws and legal regulations.
Work Style: Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Age: 18 years old and above.
Personality: Careful, meticulous, honest, high sense of responsibility, and able to work well under high pressure.
Language: Basic English communication.
