A. Job Description

  • Maintain the quality of signature products/dishes for the brand.
  • Develop the core team at the restaurant and enhance specialized food knowledge.
  • Assign shifts to kitchen staff, ensuring the highest possible quantity and quality of personnel during kitchen operating hours.
  • Check the preparation of ingredients and goods belonging to the kitchen department at the start of the shift (or depending on the delivery/receiving time of ingredients).
  • Supervise and evaluate the quality of raw materials received by the restaurant and the finished products served to guests.
  • Check inventory and order food supplies, ensuring the quantity/quality meets the anticipated number of guests.
  • Maintain and instruct staff to comply with food safety and hygiene regulations/procedures and occupational safety.
  • Report any unusual signs or issues to the Head Chef immediately upon discovery.
  • Complete all report forms accurately and completely as required by regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the direct Manager.

B. Job Requirements

  • Age: 27 years old and above.
  • Experience: Preference for candidates with at least 02 years of experience in a similar position within restaurant kitchens.
  • Appearance/Demeanor: Quick, agile, and suitable for a kitchen and service environment.
  • Ability to receive information and fill out required forms/templates.
  • Ability to stand/move continuously during shifts.
  • Strong Leadership capability clearly demonstrated in the restaurant kitchen setting.
  • Deep understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene knowledge, with a clear ability to communicate and enforce it to kitchen staff.
  • Skills in handling incidents/troubleshooting, both work-related and external.
  • Skills in estimating and forecasting inventory/goods, ensuring products are served promptly according to the menu schedule/timeframe.
  • Demonstrates and maintains thriftiness and protection of shared assets.
  • Ability to manage the Kitchen line (Hands-on cooking), good tasting skills, and quick, decisive operations.
  • Personality: Dedicated to customer service, honest, open-minded, enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to work well under high pressure.
