A. Job Description
- Prepare all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment for cooking according to the shift schedule.
- Maintain food quality at the highest achievable level.
- Be aware of the happenings in the restaurant (e.g., the arrival of a large guest party, etc.).
- Calculate the appropriate amount of ingredients/raw materials for each product used.
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Adhere to all regulations regarding food safety and hygiene, and internal occupational safety rules.
- Control and minimize spoilage, wastage, or loss due to pre-processing.
- Complete all required forms accurately.
- Arrive on time and be ready to work.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are maintained in good working order.
- Label and date all products that have been used/prepped.
- Execute food retrieval from storage based on the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principle.
- Assist the Kitchen Team Leader in evaluating products/ingredients within the specialized product groups.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as instructed by the direct Manager.
B. Job Requirements
- Experience: Preference for individuals with at least 06 months of experience in restaurant/hotel kitchens.
- Appearance/Demeanor: Quick, agile, and suitable for a kitchen and service environment.
- Skills: Ability to receive information and fill out required forms/templates.
- Physical Demands: Able to move continuously or stand in place during the working shift.
- Personality: Dedicated to customer service, honest, open-minded, enthusiastic, highly motivated (eager to learn), and able to work well under work pressure.
- Age: 18 years old and above.
